Educational Goal

To cultivate students in becoming honorable, innovative, pragmatic, and practical talented professionals in marketing and logistics management.

Curricula

The designed courses are aim to give students a balanced development between theory and practice, and to cultivate them to become honorable, innovative, pragmatic, and practical talented professionals in marketing and logistics management. The courses are divided into two major fields, Marketing Management and Distribution Business Management, as shown below.)

1. Field of Marketing Management: CRM, Marketing Management, ERP, Marketing Planning, Marketing Research, Advertising Management and Practices, Web Design, E-Commerce, Brand Community.)

2. Field of Distribution Business Management (DBM): Distribution Business Management (DBM), Retailing Services, Warehouse and Transportation Management, Logistics Management, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).)

Development Features

1.Carry out counseling of Certification Exams: The department is designated as American Logistics International Logistics SOLE counseling license exam, and a variety of national and non-governmental license exam. Combine courses with certification exams to counsel students to actively participate in relative qualification and license exams.)

2.Interaction with companies and internships: students are arranged to enter companies as internships prior graduation to connect with the industry. We work with major corporations, including marketing routes, distribution services, franchising, logistics services, and ferry and plane transportation industries to enable cooperative education and to increase internship opportunities and professional experiences for students. Arrange for students to acquire internship before graduation to fulfil the basic technical and vocational education.

Facilities and Resources

1.The Project Implementation and Performance CenterUses the same ranking of equipment and devices to provide situational teaching.

2.The marketing and distribution network information systems of Internet Marketing Center are synchronized with marketing practitioners and a variety of teaching simulation systems to create a good learning environment)

3.Achievements of professional and skill certificates are promoted at the Retail Service Training Center

4.Computers are provided at the two Multimedia Digital Center for provision of teaching computer skills in the examination of certificates.)

Faculty

The high-end and experienced faculties in the department include professionals in management, logistics, trading, exhibition, marketing, computer and other areas of expertise, as well as English and Japanese. In addition to full-time faculty, managers from well-known companies provide cooperative education in practical experience to strengthen integration of theory and practice.

Graduates may enter graduate schools for economics, business, finance, information management, and other subjects.
